    Randy Chance is a music teacher. He taught for a year and a half at the Topanga Elementary School Star Program as well as the Laurel Canyon Star Program, and worked extensively as an assisstant teacher for Bill Russo at the Columbia College Center for New Music in Chicago. He has taught hundreds of private students in Southern California, including musicians who have received major record offers, students currently enrolled in CalArts Music Department, Musician's Institute in Hollywood, UCLA Santa Cruz Music Department, Santa Monica City College Music Department and others.

    As well as having been a performing and recording musician all his life, (see his resume from the music page) Randy teaches guitar, piano, bass guitar, song writing and musical composition. He teaches all styles and all levels, including classical and jazz. He has his own unique method for teaching theory, harmony, note reading and sight-singing that has proven extremely effective.
