    RANDY CHANCE

Randy Chance was born in Chicago and moved to the Los Angeles area in 1973. He received credentials to teach Hatha Yoga from the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara. He has studied yoga and meditation with numerous teachers, including Kundalini Yoga with Yogi Bhajan, and Siddha Yoga with Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. He has taken private lessons in Tibetan meditation at the Shambhala Center in Los Angeles, has participated in Zen meditation at the Zen Mountain Center and has studied with Zen Master Taizan Maezumi Roshi. Randy has conducted private yoga classes from Big Sur to Joshua Tree and has also taught Hatha Yoga classes at the Zen Center Los Angeles. His method features Hatha Yoga ashtanga, emphasizing asana (posture), pranayama (breath control) and meditation. He interprets yoga in a contemporary way, tailoring his lessons to the individual needs of his students.

He studied Kabbalah, Tarot and Hermetics for seven years before he began giving numerous Psychic readings, Tarot readings, and Astrological charts in Southern California and Abroad. Some of his Primary Motives for working with the Tarot are to learn a basis for creating his own personal approach to symbolism and to use the Tarot as a set of symbols for self knowledge and personal transformation. Having compiled information from numerous sources, he has begun writing an original discourse of Tarot, focusing on an integration of Kaballah, Astrology and Numerology.

Having studied Kabbalah with world-renown psychic Andrew Dapoissano and others, as well as having gone through Jungian therapy and dream analysis when he was younger with Dr. Bruce Boyd and Dr. Pedro Garcia, Psychiatrists, as well as Monica Weill, Jungian Relationship Therapist, Randy practices a very Jungian approach to spirituality, believing that one's own intuition is the best guide. He is familiar with the Twelve Step programs, and wishes his work to be healing oriented. Having had extensive experience in Music and the Arts, he is particularly interested in working with people who need help with their Creative Process. He hopes that his system of Divination can be of service as a guide to Personal Healing, Growth, Psychological Integration, Individuation and Spiritual Development.

Randy and his wife, Jenise, have conducted several day-long meditation retreats in their beautiful retreat setting in the hills of Topanga Canyon, helping people understand how to integrate the ancient Indian teachings with current twentieth and twenty first century, western lifestyles. He specializes in applying the teachings of yoga meditation to the experiences of current recovery from alcoholic and addictive problems, using yoga meditation to invoke the artistic, creative process in ways that are not self-destructive.

Randy and his wife also plan Weddings, and he is legally credentialed and available to perform Wedding Ceremonies.
